SURFOLEN P100

Mixture of emulsifiers based on ethoxylated fatty alcohols

Main features

The product develops a strong greening action that results in a valuable degreasing action on the leather Thanks to its characteristics, it is also suitable for degreasing tripe. Surfolen P100 is a powerful cleanser that drastically reduces residual grease and completely cleanses the surface of the skin. Used from 3 to 6% alone or in combination with other degreasers, an instant degreasing action is obtained for tripe leathers. The product is compatible with all anionic, non-ionic and cationic substances. It has a strong emulsifying power that helps the fatliquors to penetrate deeply and even out the tincture. Used from 0.5 to 1%, an excellent cleaning of the grain is obtained before chrome retanning. If used in % 0.1/0.3 in the fat mixture, a perfect emulsifying action is obtained.

SGREASEAN SOL is a blend of selected non-chlorinated hydrocarbons, <SGREASEAN SOL is a highly concentrated degreaser for greasing leathers in an aqueous bath, even at relatively low temperatures. It is particularly suitable for leather that has a high content of natural fats. SGREASEAN SOL produces stable emulsions even at high concentrations, and can be used at any stage of the wet process. It helps the even distribution of the remaining natural fats. No problems were found with the use of hard water. It is possible to use SGREASEAN SOL during maceration, after liming and after pickling. Even when used on wet-blue leathers, this product will give high yields. The percentage of use can vary from 0.5 to 6.0% depending on the results required, and the type of blank to be treated. It is possible to use SGREASEAN SOL in combination with other surfactants, obtaining some synergistic advantages. The suggested temperature is 33 to 36 degrees centigrade. SGREASEAN SOL can also be used with good results together with other detergents for the first wash of leathers for the production of shearling articles.

SURFOLEN EMU

Ethoxylated fatty alcohol with emulgating function

Main features

SURFOLEN EMU is a mixture of ionic and non-ionic surfactants that has a strong emulgating action. It can be used at any stage of the tanning process (both in beam house and in retanning). In addition, SURFOLEN EMU has a strong greening action.
Usage rates vary depending on the material to be treated.
