Our deliming for processing leather in the wet phase.
During deliming, the leather is deprived of depilatory chemical residues such as sodium sulfide and lime. In this phase, the pH value of the leather is brought to the level required for maceration.

Thanks to its composition of organic acids and masking products, DECALCINANTE AZ, thanks to its buffering characteristics, acts in a non-aggressive way with excellent results on the leather.
By deliming the leather with DECALCINANTE AZ you get the following advantages:
After the addition DECALCINANTE AZ in the deliming bath, the pH is not so low, thus avoiding the swelling of the grain which would produce damage to the finished leather. Being an achromic product, it can be used to process white or light-colored leathers. DECALCINANTE AZ also has a masking effect that allows you to obtain finished leathers with a firm grain. This feature is highly appreciated by tanneries that process full-grain leathers.
