Lineapelle 103’s trend analysis

The trends of Lineapelle 103 are more than positive. This edition of the event, held at Fiera Milano Rho from 20 to 22 February 2024, marked an important step forward for the leather, luxury and design supply chain both in terms of trends and figures. With 25,376 attendees, the event recorded a significant increase in operators in the sector, compared to previous editions in February and September 2023, demonstrating vibrant energy and sending a positive message for the future. The 1,167 exhibitors present at the international event captured attention with innovative collections and projects for the spring-summer 2025 season, showing a strong propensity for diversification of markets, destinations and proposals.

It is worth noting the large participation of foreign operators, who accounted for 39% of the total. Countries such as France, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, the United States and China contributed significantly to the growth and liveliness of the event.

LINEAPELLE 103 was able to offer high value-added content, such as the six fashion shows of Lineapelle Designers Edition, which were very successful, and the first edition of Lineapelle Interiors / Leather Duets which highlighted exclusive leather design projects.

Particularly interesting was also the second edition of the Science Based Fashion Talks, focused on green strategies for the entire supply chain that also involve the tanning chemical sector. Bomapell is particularly concerned about this topic as it has always developed chemical-tanning solutions capable of guaranteeing excellent results with the utmost respect for man, the environment and the territory.

Lineapelle 103 trends

The 103rd edition of Lineapelle brought out several trends, enhancing the most precious side of leather, celebrating it through collections in elegant golden leather that are inspired by the charm and luxury of Parisian living. Ample space has also been reserved for nuances borrowed from the world of cutecore very much in vogue on social media and in particular on TikTok which enhances bright colors, plastic touches and simple patterns.

The various items presented during the event enhanced the liveliness and vitality of leather also through the combination with other materials and textures. The inlaid, lasered, painted, braided and studded leather was the great protagonist of the event. Finally, this edition marked the rediscovery of ancient craftsmanship brought to modernity thanks to innovative leathers that wink at the environment, for an eco-sustainable approach.
